From a token story to a first evidence check

Article updated at:

Written by deterministic rules, without individual human review. Observation time is retained; this is not live pricing or investment advice.

Start with a question you can verify

When a story says someone bought a token, turn it into a specific question: which network, full contract, pool and time? Names, icons and symbols can repeat, and repost counts do not verify a source. Record project claims separately from observable chain facts. This helps avoid confusing attention with money entering a pool. A screenshot without a contract or timestamp is a lead to investigate, not a completed check.

Choose tools by question

Fomo can be an entry point for trader activity, Ave.ai for token and pool research, and GMGN for wallet-history research. Treat these as different research tasks, not a requirement to register everywhere. Features, fees and available regions can change. Establish the question with the free site tools first, then check the relevant service’s current information before opening an account. No platform name substitutes for matching the actual contract.

What a reproducible check records

Save the network, full contract, source URL, observation time and unresolved questions. A wallet’s displayed profit is not a result you can assume you will reproduce: cost basis, asset transfers, selling restrictions and sample selection matter. If tools disagree, compare pools and timestamps before choosing a figure. Keep both observations until the difference is explained. Finishing a research record does not require making a trade.

Fees below are hypothetical examples, not platform quotes.
